Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Ames, IA. As a key member of our sales team, you'll play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining a strong brand presence in the market. Key Responsibilities

Follow Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company's merchandising standards and sales campaign diagrams to ensure effective product placement and visual merchandising.
Set out and rotate products to create visually appealing displays that positively reflect the company and iconic Coca-Cola brand image.
Act as a corporate liaison for the sales team, ensuring professional contact with customers and maintaining a clean and neat appearance at all times.
Follow proper rotation procedures for all product areas, including shelving, coolers, displays, and back-stock.
Install and maintain point-of-sale items, such as discount coupons, channel price tags, display headers, pole signs, static clings, and other promotional materials.
Assist the Account Manager with price-management issues and communicate timely to the sales/account manager and/or supervisor any account issues or potential opportunities.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensuring a safe environment for yourself, customers, and consumers. Keep back stock areas organized, clean, and condensed per company and customer standards.
Regularly perform minor as-needed maintenance on displays and report escalated repairs to the Merchandising Supervisor.
Perform other duties as required to support the sales team and ensure the success of the company.


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to follow directions and work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Ability to make frequent visits to multiple customer sites each day
Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and effectively solve on-site problems
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Regular, consistent attendance is an essential job function


Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the essential qualifications, we're looking for candidates with the following preferred qualifications:

Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or a related field
Knowledge of the beverage industry and Coca-Cola products
Experience with point-of-sale displays and visual merchandising
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks, such as standing, walking, pushing, and pulling
Basic computer skills and familiarity with sales software and systems
