Job Summary We're seeking an experienced and results-driven Member Contact Center Representative I to join our remote call center team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members via phone, email, web channels, mail, and facsimile. This role requires a strong focus on delivering quality and accuracy in member service transactions, identifying needs, and offering solutions that meet our members' evolving financial needs. Key Responsibilities Provide efficient and timely service to members via phone, mail, facsimile, and other communication channels, ensuring quality and accuracy in member service transactions. Consult with members to identify needs, offer solutions, and follow up on pending transactions, fostering strong relationships and trust with our members. Recommend other products and services to members based on their needs and preferences, driving cross-sell goals and revenue growth. Perform various duties, including opening new member accounts, processing deposits and withdrawals, reviewing account information, and providing basic online banking support. Identify and report suspicious behavior or suspected fraud activity, ensuring the security and integrity of our members' accounts. Complete all required training and compliance modules, staying up-to-date on industry developments and regulatory requirements. Treat all coworkers and members with respect, dignity, and professionalism, upholding our core values of United, Informative, Approachable, Caring, and Transparent. Support and participate in continuous improvement activities, driving process enhancements and innovation within our team. Represent the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: 1 year of retail experience with a proven track record in meeting and exceeding service and sales goals. A basic understanding of financial products and services. Professional verbal skills and etiquette, with the ability to communicate effectively with members and colleagues. Competent computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, and Excel), remote signing, and webcam operation. Excellent follow-up skills, with the ability to anticipate and meet member needs. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and empathize with members. Excellent written skills (email) with attention to grammar and spelling. Member service and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. Ability to work well with other departments, demonstrating a team player mentality. A genuine interest in helping members through "Conversations that Matter" and a caring, empathetic nature. Willingness to make a difference and contribute to the growth and success of our team. A personable and professional demeanor, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional member service. Education We require a High School Diploma or equivalent for this role. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary, with pay scales varying by geographic location.
