Experienced Medical Writer for Podium Presentations and Scientific Publications - Remote Opportunity

About the Role We're seeking an experienced Medical Writer to develop accurate and effective Clinical, Scientific, and Regulatory documents and presentations for external scientific conferences and meetings. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for creating complex scientific content, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Research, create, and edit moderately complex scientific publications and presentations of clinical research based on input from the Clinical Team, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and physician investigators Develop complex scientific content (e.g., medical writing, editing, finalizing manuscripts, abstracts, podium presentations, posters, publication review, scientific content review) and submit content to scientific congresses and medical journals Lead the content evaluation and ensure alignment with relevant strategy by reviewing complex deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams and provide recommendations and solutions for content improvement Conduct literature reviews to address study-specific questions; provide synopsis of findings Provide transfer knowledge to other team members Team up with authors and principal investigators to write, edit, and prepare documents such as grants, proposals, clinical summaries, and publishing manuscripts Create podium presentations leading to publication in conference proceedings Conduct literature searches, manage the literature database, and prepare literature reviews for external and internal clients Review draft publications for accuracy and continuity with previously published work and submitted regulatory documents Project Lead for medical writing deliverables for assigned clinical studies Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field (e.g., life sciences, medicine, or a related discipline) 8-10 years of experience in medical writing, preferably in a related industry (e.g., pharmaceuticals, medical devices) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Reference Manager (Endnote) Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and experience will be considered a plus: Cardiology Med device experience Experience working with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and physicians Knowledge of clinical trial execution Illustrator skills (nice to have) What We Offer As a member of our team, you'll enjoy: A competitive hourly rate ($60-$64.19) A contract position with a duration of 18 months Opportunities for career growth and professional development A remote work environment with flexible working hours (8 AM to 5 PM Pacific time, Monday to Friday) Dental, health, and vision insurance benefits Work Environment and Company Culture Our remote office provides a state-of-the-art and comfortable workspace, allowing you to work effectively and efficiently.
