The Position: Medical Data Entry Specialist The primary function of this role is to update our database within assigned markets, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our customer and account information. As a Medical Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our database by entering new and updated customer information, reconciling incoming census, and requesting new lead information. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team environment will be essential in this position. Key Responsibilities: Reconcile census, drive maintenance, and enter new lead information of existing facilities to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Enter new admissions into our CRM system and set them up as an account, facilitating seamless communication and service delivery. Send out and receive mail and packages, update returned mail, and manage correspondence in a timely and efficient manner. Update the parent/home account with death and discharges, ensuring our records are current and reflective of our residents' status. Send and receive faxes and emails, maintaining open lines of communication with our facilities and stakeholders. Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to supporting the team. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Education and Training: A high school diploma or equivalent, providing a foundation in basic skills and knowledge. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), enabling you to efficiently manage data and communicate with the team. 1-3 years of customer service experience with a service company, preferably in a healthcare setting, demonstrating your ability to respond to customer needs and provide excellent service. Salesforce.com or CRM experience, preferred, as it will facilitate your work with our database and customer relationship management systems. Other Qualifications: Customer Service: Respond promptly to customer needs, respond to requests for service and assistance, and meet commitments, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Reconciliation Skills: Ability to reconcile data from different sources to get an accurate picture, ensuring the integrity of our database. Organizational Skills: Prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, and manage competing demands to meet deadlines and achieve goals. Quality Control/Attention to Detail: Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, monitor own work to ensure quality, and apply feedback to improve performance, contributing to the overall excellence of our services. Adaptability: Adapt to changes in the work environment, manage frequent change, delays, or unexpected events, and maintain a positive and flexible attitude. Dependability: Consistently be at work and on time, follow instructions, respond to management direction, and solicit feedback to improve performance, demonstrating reliability and commitment to the team. Physical Effort and Working Conditions This position can be performed remotely (home office) or in a normal office setting at our headquarters, with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. You will spend substantial time working on a computer, requiring comfort with digital tools and software. This is a full-time position working standard business hours, Monday through Friday, although project support may require temporary adjustments to these hours as needed.
