Communicate regularly with parents through newsletters, notes, phone calls, conferences, and other means. Participate in and contribute to the teaching profession, staying up-to-date with best practices and research. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess: A valid Alaska initial, professional, or master teaching certificate. Evidence of content knowledge in Math, demonstrated through a posted degree, minor, or passing Praxis Subject Assessments scores. A certificate endorsement in Math, if applicable. Strong knowledge of Math curriculum and teaching methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively in a remote environment, with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience teaching Math at the relevant grade level.
