About the Role: Math Intervention Teacher We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Math Intervention Teacher to join our team in Union City, Georgia. This is a full-time, remote position that offers the opportunity to work with middle and high school students in grades 6-12, focusing on math intervention. As a Math Intervention Teacher with Catapult Learning, you will play a critical role in helping students achieve grade-level academic success through our gradual release model of instruction. This approach allows students to transition smoothly to independent learning, equipping them with the skills and confidence they need to succeed. Key Responsibilities: Deliver math instruction to small groups of students in multiple grade levels, with a focus on intervention and support. Utilize company-designed materials and educational strategies to develop and maintain individualized, skill-appropriate lesson plans. Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting them safely to and from classrooms or learning stations. Perform data entry in a timely manner to meet deadlines, including student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, and parent and classroom teacher communication forms. Schedule and attend parent meetings and conferences to maintain open communication and collaboration. Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies. Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field. A GA Teaching Certificate or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Classroom teaching, internship, or tutoring experience, particularly in math intervention. A willingness and ability to teach both math and reading/ELA to various grade levels. Working knowledge of MS Office and Zoom/Teams is preferred. A passion for helping students achieve academic success and a commitment to making a positive impact on their lives. Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working with at-risk youth or students who are struggling academically. Familiarity with gradual release models of instruction and intervention strategies. Strong data analysis skills to inform instruction and drive student progress. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
