About the Role We're seeking an exceptional Math Instructor / Tutor to create an engaging and productive learning experience for students. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with students, develop your professional skills, and contribute to the community. This part-time role offers flexible hours between 5 and 20 hours/week, allowing you to balance your work and personal life. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional instruction/tutoring services to students using the Mathnasium Method ?? Participate in positive interactions with parents and establish a high level of confidence and program value Become proficient with digital educational materials & processes Teach using the Mathnasium Method ?? , terminology, and teaching practices, including individualized instruction in a group setting Assess students' progress throughout instructional sessions and work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for students Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework Support the maintenance of a clean & professional learning environment Assist with non-teaching/instructional tasks as needed Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A passion for math and working with students Excellent interpersonal skills Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I Ability to balance various ongoing tasks Willingness to learn and be trained in the Mathnasium Method ?? Priority consideration will be given to applicants with experience teaching in a Mathnasium center.
