Job Highlights and Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for using diagnostic assessments to determine the strengths and weaknesses of each student and developing a series of activities to help them master missing or weak mathematical skills. This will involve working one-on-one with students, creating personalized learning plans, and utilizing a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage and motivate learners. Key Responsibilities: Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness in math for each student Develop and implement personalized learning plans to address the unique needs of each student Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources, including games and activities, to engage and motivate students Provide one-on-one tutoring and support to students in Grade K-6 Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a comprehensive and supportive learning environment Qualifications and Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates must have prior experience teaching mathematics in an elementary classroom and possess excellent interpersonal skills, particularly when working with reluctant learners. A BS or BA degree in education or a related field, as well as math endorsement and/or additional training in best practices in mathematics teaching, are preferred.
