Experienced Math Educator and Tutor – Part-Time Algebra Tutoring Position for High School Students in a Dynamic and Supportive Environment

Job Overview and Responsibilities
In this part-time Algebra tutoring position, you will be responsible for providing individualized instruction and support to high school students in Algebra, as well as other math and science subjects, including Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing a session report for our office and families within twenty-four hours of each tutoring session
Effectively balancing tutoring hours given for each assigned student
Successfully and professionally teaching students to fit their individual needs
Servicing existing clients' concerns, questions, and requests
Following up with the office when a student's enrollment package is low on hours
Preparing accordingly for each tutoring session, including developing a lesson plan
Having a personality that is suited for different types of students
Demonstrating strong administration skills, including typing, PC, and recording skills
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field and industry preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring/teaching in specialized education fields preferred
Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus but not a requirement
Experience with basic Database/ Data Entry
Access to the internet, a computer, and a smartphone
Reliable transportation with current car insurance is a must
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs
Passion for inspiring and motivating students to reach their full potential
Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and abilities
