Job Overview The Manufacturing Engineer will play a critical role in the development of blithequark's data center equipment, working closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design, manufacturing engineering, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving process improvements and optimizing production efficiency. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and manage the implementation of flexible manufacturing processes and systems for specific data center products, with a focus on cost, quality, and flexibility. Collaborate with Design, Product Management, and Operations teams to identify and address potential manufacturing roadblocks in early development stages. Analyze and interpret complex production data to drive informed manufacturing strategies and identify opportunities for performance improvement. Lead the assessment, qualification, and strategic development of contract manufacturers, with an emphasis on future capabilities and growth. Utilize Product Data Management (PDM) systems to create Bills of Materials (BOM), Approved Vendor Lists (AVL), and manage Engineering Change Notices/Requests (ECN/O). Lead the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team to align design and BOM structures. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Design, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. 10 years of experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, or Product Design. 6 years of experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). 5 years of experience in design and implementation of civil high-voltage applications in data center construction. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including lean manufacturing principles and quality control systems. Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree in Science or a related field. Experience driving yield improvements and process duration reductions for high-volume and high-complexity parts. Experience with LEAN manufacturing/5S/8D practices. Experience in charging data centers. Ability to influence product electrical design and manufacturing process. Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
