Experienced Manufacturing and Production Supervisor - Beverage Production Operations

About the Role As a Manufacturing / Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our production facility. You will be responsible for leading a team of production staff, managing equipment and processes, and driving quality and productivity excellence. Key Responsibilities Ensure Equipment and Working Conditions are Safe and Efficient : You will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and that working conditions are safe and compliant with company and regulatory standards. Manage Product Quality and Specifications : You will oversee the production process to ensure that product quality and specifications are maintained, and that any issues or defects are identified and addressed promptly. Lead and Develop the Production Team : You will be responsible for staffing, training, and developing the members of the production team, and for promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Manage Labor and OPEX Budgets : You will be responsible for adhering to labor and OPEX budgets, and for identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Perform Periodic Checks and Adjustments : You will make periodic checks on equipment and work practices, and make adjustments as needed to ensure that production is running smoothly and efficiently. Other Duties as Assigned : You will also be required to perform other duties as assigned by management, including special projects and initiatives. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of related experience, or 0-1 year of supervisory experience, or a High School Diploma/General Education Degree with 5+ years of specific experience and 2+ years of related supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices, including quality control and safety procedures. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: A Master's Degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or engineering. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the beverage industry. Certifications or training in areas such as lean manufacturing, six sigma, or quality control.
