Job Overview and Key Responsibilities
As a Language of Destination (LOD) Customer Service Agent at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our customers at LAX. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that every customer interaction is positive, professional, and memorable. You will work as part of a dynamic team to deliver exceptional travel experiences, and your responsibilities will include:

Greeting customers and assisting them with the ticketing and baggage check-in process
Using computers to sell, print, and reissue tickets
Managing the check-in process, ensuring that customers have the proper travel documentation
Tagging baggage and performing lifting tasks that involve transferring baggage from scales to conveyor belts
Practicing safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
Assisting customers with routing, trip planning, and gate boarding
Using computers to assist customers with seat availability, making gate announcements, and managing the boarding process
Operating jet ways to place them in position prior to aircraft arrival and lift, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

Fluency in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to pass standardized language assessments
A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
Authorization to work in the United States
Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift bags or items weighing up to and including 50 pounds
Willingness to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays


Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

Previous ticketing experience
Experience working in a customer-facing role
Knowledge of airline operations and procedures
