Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager of Analytics to support our paid media investigation capability and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends and opportunities, and developing strategic recommendations to optimize our paid media spend. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and product development, to drive business outcomes and improve marketing efficiencies. Key Responsibilities Deliver reporting and insights in the area of paid media to inform business decisions and drive optimization Design and lead the development of analytics, business intelligence, and data science projects to enhance paid media performance and improve marketing efficiencies Collaborate with paid media data science teams and marketing teams to implement media mix models and drive business outcomes Conduct ad-hoc analysis through database querying, followed by rapid interpretation of results and the reporting and communication of recommendations that drive action Partner with marketing, finance, and product teams to address business challenges and track marketing and product performance using a data-driven approach Leverage Structured Query Language (SQL), MicroStrategy, Tableau, Excel, and other reporting tools to create and maintain scheduled and ad-hoc reports Analyze data to identify business issues and lead deep dives to perform root cause analysis Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage data (internal data from arenaflex, as well as external data from market research and marketing agencies) and address complex business challenges by delivering actionable insights Conceptualize and run analysis that generates insights on customer behavior and customer needs to help further develop and improve our offerings Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Experience in the field of Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Consulting in an e-commerce environment or related field Advanced SQL skills Advanced experience with at least one industry analytics and metrics visualization tool (e.g., Tableau/QuickSight/PowerBI) Proficiency in Excel with a proven track record Degree in data science, business, economics, information technology, statistics, mathematics, or other related field Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates who possess the following preferred qualifications: A passion for working in a team of highly engaged individuals A passion for numbers, data, and statistics, as well as for delivering high-quality analysis and insights A strong bias for action, highly organized, and ability to complete tasks and projects with minimal direction and tight deadlines Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate with both business leadership and technical teams effectively Experience with subscription-based or media content organizations Experience with and/or interest in learning more about cutting-edge data science approaches Programming languages: knowledge of Python Knowledge of other programming languages, such as Java or C#, or of statistical programming languages like R or SAS Knowledge of Adobe Analytics Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
