Job Summary We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Florida. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy equipment and facilities. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading healthcare company and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on pharmacy equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and safety. Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to create and manage preventive maintenance schedules and work orders. Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to perform complex repairs and maintenance tasks on automated equipment. Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and inventory management. Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge. Work effectively in a team environment to achieve maintenance goals and objectives. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in maintenance and repair principles, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have: Essential Qualifications A minimum of an Associate's degree in a related field, such as Maintenance Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience. At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a healthcare or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of electrical systems, including single-phase and three-phase power, engines, and safety devices. Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and related software. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts, up to 80 pounds, as needed. Willingness to work at heights, up to 100 feet, and perform tasks that require bending, stooping, and climbing. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and related software. Knowledge of robotics and automated systems. Experience with inventory management and control. Certifications in maintenance and repair, such as OSHA or EPA.
