Key Responsibilities As a Maintenance Technician on our 3rd shift team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our machinery and equipment. Your key responsibilities will include: Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and similar problems on machinery/equipment and performing timely repairs Establishing appropriate frequency and performing regular preventive maintenance activities on all machinery/equipment in the facility Performing timely facility/building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintaining a clean and safe work area Dismantling defective machines/equipment and installing new or repaired equipment Maintaining accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs Coordinating and making recommendations on work-related contracts and services Supervising outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance Participating, supporting, and complying with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements Meeting TKMNA Employee Attributes/Competencies Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following minimum requirements: 3-5 years of experience in an industrial, maintenance environment College degree or certificate in a technical area or related field Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude Good interpersonal and communication skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings Safety-oriented mindset, as this is a Safety Sensitive role Preferred qualifications include: Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards Previous experience with preventive maintenance and repair of machinery/equipment What We Offer At thyssenkrupp Aerospace, we offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes: Competitive salary ($29.00 - $36.13 per hour) Medical, dental, and vision benefits effective the first of the month following your hire date Employee Basic and Optional Life Insurance/AD&D FSA and HSA options Voluntary Benefits, including Accident Insurance, Hospital Indemnity, and Critical Illness benefits Short-Term and Long-Term Disability 2 weeks paid paternity leave Employee Assistance Program 401k plan with a 100% employee match up to the first 4% - employees vest after 3 years of service 3 weeks (120 hours) paid vacation (pro-rated based on date of hire) Holiday Pay: up to 88 hours of holiday pay, depending on the date of hire and the holiday schedule Tuition Reimbursement Program 8 hours paid time off for Volunteering with charities Job Training and Development programs Career Pathway program for hourly employees for internal job progression and wage transparency Discount Programs on travel, auto, entertainment, tickets, beauty, spa, health, and wellness Work Environment and Culture At thyssenkrupp Aerospace, we pride ourselves on a culture that values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
