Job Summary

As a Maintenance Technician at our Distribution Center, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance tasks, minor mechanical repairs, and troubleshooting issues with material handling equipment and other DC machinery. You will utilize our computerized maintenance management system to schedule and track maintenance activities, and collaborate with senior maintenance technicians to perform corrective and predictive maintenance on automated equipment. Key Responsibilities:


Perform preventive maintenance tasks and minor mechanical repairs on material handling equipment and other DC machinery
Utilize computerized maintenance management system to schedule and track maintenance activities
Collaborate with senior maintenance technicians to perform corrective and predictive maintenance on automated equipment
Identify and report potential safety issues related to material handling equipment or DC office
Participate in maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to company safety policies and procedures
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
Provide excellent customer service to internal customers, including DC operations and management teams


Essential Qualifications:


Associate's degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology AND at least 2 years of maintenance experience in a facilities, US Military, distribution, or manufacturing environment
OR at least 4 years of maintenance experience in a facilities, US Military, distribution, or manufacturing environment
Knowledge of industrial power, including single-phase and three-phase power, motors, protective devices, and photo sensors
At least 6 months of experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and logic principles
At least 6 months of experience transferring and downloading PLCs, System Control Software (SCSs), and scanners
At least 6 months of experience with devices such as photo sensors, PLCs, remote I/O modules, servo drives, and variable frequency drives


Preferred Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology
Experience with automated material handling systems and equipment
Certifications in maintenance, such as CMRP or CPIM


Physical Demands:


Willing and able to climb to the 100-foot level to make repairs as needed
Willing and able to lift parts and tools weighing up to 80 pounds as needed
Willing and able to perform tasks that involve repetitive bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking
