Job Highlights Company: Workwarp, in partnership with Google Compensation: Competitive salary of $25/hour Start Date: Immediate openings available Position: Logistics Operations Manager – Google Virtual Remote Job, Part Time Remote Location: Remote, with a focus on New Jersey, USA Job Details As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily logistics operations of multiple server farm locations. Your expertise in supply chain principles, problem-solving, and project management will be essential in driving key logistics processes, including managing vendors, shipping and receiving, inventory management, warehousing and distribution, transportation, and more. Key Responsibilities Own daily logistics operations management of multiple server farm locations Create, lead, and support cross-functional team drives/projects Manage and monitor vendor performance scorecards, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and development of business cases to support logistics process changes or improvements Identify opportunities for improvement to the cost and/or quality of services, and transform ideas into a documented business case Presentation of the business case to peers and management for approval, and provide ongoing project management Manage relationships with different internal clients at server farms Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of skills, experience, and education. The essential qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in Business, Strategies, Tasks, Designing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience 2 years of experience in managing warehousing, manufacturing, or supply chain activities Experience in project planning, business case development, influencing teams, presentations, and financial modeling Experience in managing people in remote and regional areas Preferred Qualifications MBA or Graduate degree in a related field Certificate in project management Experience in operations management, problem-solving, Outsider Lab (3PL) vendor relationships, budget creation, and cost management Ability to apply structured thinking and logic, and provide solutions Excellent analytical skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Google, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
