Primary Responsibilities As a Live Chat Specialist at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: Creating relationships with new and existing customers to lead to loyalty and customer retention Effectively managing chat requests, emails, and tickets in a timely manner Identifying and assessing customers' needs to achieve satisfaction quickly and efficiently Providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within an appropriate amount of time Following and implementing live chat protocols and guidelines Encouraging customers to purchase products or services by using a prepared script to reference important parts of what blithequark offers Working effectively in a team environment to support the achievement of sales goals Maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings based on explicit criteria set by blithequark Handling customer concerns, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives, and following up to ensure resolution Providing effective rebuttals to customers who are looking to cancel or change their services Recommending additional services to customers by understanding their needs Assisting with projects as needed Completing and passing all assigned continual training and role-play assignments Essential Qualifications To be successful as a Live Chat Specialist at blithequark, you will need: Excellent written communication skills A positive and upbeat personality The ability to type 55 WPM Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive information The ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Openness to coaching and training to increase customer acquisition performance The ability to actively listen and adapt to different types of personalities over chat A professional and courteous demeanor with customers at all times The ability to handle multiple chats at once Availability to work at least one weekend day and evenings Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in customer service or sales Familiarity with live chat software and technology Knowledge of blithequark's products or services A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Service : A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences Tenacity : The ability to persist in the face of challenges and obstacles Responsibility : A strong sense of accountability and ownership Integrity : A commitment to honesty, transparency, and ethics Versatility : The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities Entrepreneurship : A proactive and innovative approach to sales and customer service Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
