**Job Summary**

We're seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Houston, Texas. As a Licensed Pharmacy Technician, Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of prescription information, maintaining patient records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Licensed Pharmacy Technician, Data Entry Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

* Performing data entry tasks to ensure accurate and timely entry of prescription information
* Maintaining patient records and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including HIPAA and other privacy laws
* Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the accuracy of prescription and patient information
* Identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues related to prescriptions
* Handling calls to and from patients, providers, and other pharmacy staff
* Partnering with pharmacists for questions about prescriptions
* Meeting internal and external KPIs
* Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in pharmacy operations and keeping license active
* Performing other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

* A current and active license as a Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Texas (Texas State Board of Pharmacy)
* Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or equivalent certification
* A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy operations, typing prescriptions
* Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medications, and medical terminology
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Proficient in using pharmacy management software and other relevant computer applications. Experience using Lifefile is preferred
