About the Role: Lead Group Product Manager We are seeking an experienced Lead Group Product Manager to join our team, working remotely from the comfort of your own home. As a Lead Group Product Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the development and launch of our products, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to market. Your expertise in product management, technical leadership, and collaboration will be essential in driving the success of our products and services. Key Responsibilities: Work with various partners to identify their smart home goals and help them turn them into reality Collaborate with business development, partner engineering, engineering, and product teams to pitch, ideate, and execute Translate partner requirements into how the Google Home Platform can extend to enable partners to build, grow, and develop their businesses Act as the product owner for strategic partnerships as well as for key pieces of the product to enable and implement these partnerships Grow a team of Product Managers driving the partner growth platform and key partnerships Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience 3 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founding, or a related technical role 3 years of experience building and shipping technical products 3 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership Preferred Qualifications: While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: 3 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other partners 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting) 3 years of experience in a role planning and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership 3 years of experience in software development or engineering Experience and passion for Smart Home, Internet of Things (IoT), and Manufacturer Designed Products Skills and Competencies: To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Strong technical leadership and product management skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work cross-functionally and drive results in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Passion for innovation and driving positive change Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits: At Google, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
