Job Overview In this role, you will be responsible for leading production support activities for a group of data analytics products used to support internal bank operations. You will work closely with various technology groups to investigate stage and data quality issues, remediate problems before they affect products and services, and take on smaller projects to improve production support capabilities. Key Responsibilities Lead production support activities for a group of data analytics products used to support internal bank operations Act as a key member in the identification and triage of production incidents affecting the client data analytics platform Analyze complex technical operations challenges within a big data environment that require in-depth assessment Lead research and create reports related to ongoing production moves and present findings to internal stakeholders Lead the development of new process and platform enhancements Be the point of contact with the onshore team and ensure communication and reporting of delivery from the offshore team Champion continuous improvement, including devising new strategies and new opportunities Contribute to the establishment of performance standards for the team and ensure operations achieve or exceed performance metrics Direct the daily Risk and Control stream of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure a good outcome; re-designing and driving continuous process improvement Lead teams to meet deadlines and drive new initiatives Review, approve, and implement recommended changes to plans Collaborate and communicate with employees to resolve initiatives and achieve technology mandates Act as a mentor to peers Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field 3+ years of investigation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Strong understanding of big data lake environments and experience working with various technology groups Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: 3+ years of experience supporting large data environments 3+ years of experience delivering ETL, data warehouse, and data analytics capabilities on large data architecture, such as Hadoop 2+ years of experience using a combination of the following tools: HIVE, Panda, Autosys, Grafana, Splunk Past experience supporting Kafka and MongoDB Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
