About the Role We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Analyst to join our Business Operations team, which is the backbone of our organization. As a Lead Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business decisions by analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to our stakeholders. You will be responsible for leading the development of our reporting plan and data strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build tooling and communicate with our partners, and driving the adoption of analytics as a key value driver across our organization. Key Responsibilities Business Performance Reporting and Analysis : Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand the performance of our platforms, identify areas for improvement, and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions. Reporting and Tooling Strategy : Lead the development of meaningful and consistent metrics and reporting across our streaming platforms, ensuring that our stakeholders have access to the data they need to make informed decisions. BI Implementation : Drive the development of large-scale data reporting, acting as a subject matter expert for our team and collaborating with Data Engineering and Design to build performant ETLs, mediator tables, and intuitive dashboards. Single Source of Truth : Collaborate with our Management team to define and standardize the metrics by which we measure product performance, ensuring that our stakeholders have a unified view of our business. ETL and Metric Design : Own metric design and development, defining business requirements, structure, and development, and ensuring long-term data adaptability. Collaboration and Communication : Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide data-driven insights, and with other data teams to improve our platform capabilities around data modeling, testing platforms, data visualization, and data architecture. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or Above : In Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Economics, Math, or a related field. Data Analysis and Visualization Tools : Experience creating data analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Chartio, etc. 4+ Years of Analytical Experience : Preferably in analysis engineering or a related field. SQL and Data Management : Proficiency in SQL, with experience in SparkSQL, Hive, and other data management technologies. OLAP Databases : Experience working with OLAP databases like Snowflake or Redshift. ETL and Data Modeling : Experience creating and maintaining advanced tables for reporting through ETLs. Project and Resource Management : Experience managing projects, prioritizing tasks, and coordinating work across multiple stakeholders. Programming Languages : Proficiency in Python, R, or other statistical programming languages. Strong Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, with experience presenting to diverse audiences. Preferred Qualifications Sense of Humor : A sense of humor and ability to have fun in a fast-paced environment.
