Job Overview and Responsibilities
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for sourcing and recruiting top IT talent for our clients in the defense contracting community. Your primary goal will be to add at least 3 qualified technical candidates to our matching pool on a weekly basis, with a focus on software developers, cyber security experts, systems administrators, database engineers, and network engineers. You will also be expected to contribute to weekly submissions, participate in daily meetings with other recruiters and management, and make cold calls, send emails, and text messages to potential candidates on a daily basis.

Add at least 3 qualified technical candidates to the matching pool weekly
Contribute to weekly submissions (number specified by manager)
At least 1 candidate per month selected and hired (12 candidates per year), with one hire required within your first 90 days of employment
Participate in daily meetings with other recruiters and management
Cold calls, emails, and text messages will be completed/sent daily to potential candidates
Maintain a knowledge of open positions available in order to source the best candidate and be able to speak knowledgably and comfortably about IT positions


Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of skills and qualifications, including:

Must be a US Citizen
Live within a commutable distance to the Northern, VA area (for occasional events and meetings)
Minimum of 1-2 years of recruiting experience in IT contracting or IT staffing agency
Strong self-management skills with the ability to work independently
Successful background in sales
Exceptional customer service skills
A tenacious drive to win and a persistence to push beyond adversity to solve challenging problems
Demonstrable history of using creative sourcing approaches, including strategies that are uniquely your own (expertise in alternative search engines, boolean search strings, and data mining)
Skilled verbal and written communication is necessary, as you will spend most of your day on the phone and emailing
Ability to match candidate skills to IT positions and understanding of government clearances
Successful track record of achieving targets, whether those be deadlines, recruiting goals, or both
Self-starter with an incredible work ethic and team-first mentality
Exceptional ability on the phone to tell the company's story in a way that speaks to a job seeker's motivation, career goals, and interests
Strong organizational skills and high level of attention to detail
Flexible work hours may be necessary to maximize outreach (ex: phone calls after 5pm)


Preferred Qualifications and Certifications
While not required, the following qualifications and certifications are preferred:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Agency recruiting experience
Minimum of 1-2 years of sourcing/recruiting experience in federal contracting
Experience with technical terminology
AIRS - Certified Social Sourcing Certification (CSSR)
Certified Social Media Certification (CSMR)
Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR)
Any certification focused on recruiting or sourcing
