Key Responsibilities
Organization, maintenance, and support for all assigned software applications
Perform minor upgrades to the applications, utilizing advanced programming languages like Java or .Net
Research, investigate, and resolve issues related to assigned software application items, hosted on-premise and in the Cloud
Provide daily support of ServiceNow for IT staff and the business, including working with changes within the Incident and Request modules in ServiceNow
Identify recurring issues/problems and provide recommendations to eliminate or reduce patterns
Collaborate with management and resolution of complex incidents/issues, engaging other IT Groups and vendors as needed
Perform root cause analysis follow-up, as required, and report RCA details and make recommendations for improvement
Ensure smooth transitions from system changes/updates and projects into daily operations
Participate in Disaster Recovery and IT Business Continuity cycles and strategies
Create and maintain technical and end-user support documentation
Meet technical and business SLAs
Offer late-night support for supporting applications as required
Essential Qualifications
3+ years of IT Operations experience (support, maintenance, and administration)
3+ years of active experience with one of the advanced programming languages like Java or .Net
Experience with Microsoft Office tools
Experience with operating systems (i.e., Microsoft and Linux)
Experience using ServiceNow and JIRA
A self-motivated individual who can prioritize, and work both independently and productively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Experience managing Cloud and SaaS products
Experience with performing technology reviews
Experience writing SQL
Familiarity with MS SQL Server and Oracle DB
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (Business, Information Systems, Computer Science)
Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Development experience is a plus
3+ years of experience in the Retail Industry
ITIL Certification
3+ Years in Marketing systems - RMS, RETEK, PLM, Marketing Planning
