Our mission is to find fanatics, enthusiasts, advocates, experts, and anyone else who shares our passion for technology and customer service, and bring them together with our customers to make a real difference. **Responsibilities and Duties** As an IT Chat Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for: * Sharing your passion for our brand and products with customers, and helping them make informed purchasing decisions * Using our products and services to stay up-to-date on the latest features and benefits * Familiarizing yourself with our brand site and media, as well as competitor products and services * Comparing and analyzing competitor products to provide customers with the best possible options * Showing empathy and understanding to customers in stressful situations, and providing them with personalized support and solutions * Typing at least 35 wpm, with a strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively in text form * Explaining complex technical concepts in a way that's easy for customers to understand **Skills and Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * 5+ years of experience in the IT industry, with a strong background in large corporate or hospital IT systems (a plus) * Familiarity with top operating systems and brand environments * A passion for helping others with large-scale electronic purchasing needs * The ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise way * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues * A strong typing speed and accuracy, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in text form **CDW's Purpose** At blithequark, our purpose is to help our customers achieve their goals by providing them with the technology advice and products they need, when they need them.
