IT management of all site implementations, inventories, infrastructure planning, accompanying, protection strategies of support and break/fix services for data center critical infrastructure, IT certification labs, and remote communication room critical climate hardware
IT support of IT labs to align our customer application and engineering teams with workstations, equipment, and access to test their applications
Remote coordination in association with professional services responsible for critical infrastructure support and break-fix activities at remote communication rooms
Management, operation, maintenance, and monitoring of all critical facilities infrastructure for data center and remote communication room equipment
Development of data center and remote communication room standards for space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure
Support of IT Facilities campus fiber ring to maintain the integrity and service continuity of the Atlanta airport and campus facilities underground fiber ring
Proposal and implementation of departmental policy, guidelines, rules, and procedures
Ensuring compliance with all governing corporate standards and regulations
Project management of data center and remote communication room standards capital enhancements, upgrades, and improvements
Selection of IT and critical facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, obtaining best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors fulfill their contractual commitments
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Knowledge of data center technology and critical facilities infrastructure
Project management experience with remote communication room standards capital enhancements, upgrades, and improvements
Capital budgeting and project management for airport critical equipment life cycle replacement
Space, UPS power, and critical cooling capacity management
Selection of critical facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, obtaining best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors fulfill their contractual commitments
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to balance multiple priorities within established time limits
Flexibility to support an operation with changing shifts, extended hours, and on-call requirements
Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Four-year degree or 5 or more years of relevant experience
Trade school graduate
IT project management experience with (at least 2 years) in a high-availability communication room or data center operating environment, daily operational requirements, and the operation of production systems and equipment
