About the Role As an Engineer on our team, you'll be working on a wide range of tasks, from designing high-level consumer interfaces to writing high-performance code for video processing and networking. You'll also be responsible for developing frameworks used by other teams across blithequark, maintaining and improving existing features, and enforcing new and innovative ideas for the future. Your primary focus will be on assisting HomeKit Security Cameras and Video Processing, ensuring that our customers have the best possible experience with our products. Key Responsibilities Design and develop high-quality, high-performance software for the iOS Domestic App, focusing on HomeKit Security Cameras and Video Processing. Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code in Swift and Objective-C. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including iOS Engineering, Human Interface Designers, Privacy, Security, and other organizations across blithequark. Optimize software performance, ensuring fast live video start and short access to recorded videos. Develop frameworks and tools used by other teams across blithequark. Maintain and improve existing features, while enforcing new and innovative ideas for the future. Work closely with other teams to identify and address potential issues, ensuring a seamless customer experience. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. 2+ years of iOS programming experience, with a strong background in Swift and Objective-C. Notable understanding of optimization and performance problems throughout OS software layers. Exceptional communication and collaborative abilities. Obsessively passionate and inquisitive, with a drive to address ordinary issues in revolutionary ways. Laser-focused on the smallest details that are vital to our customers. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with HomeKit Security Cameras and Video Processing. Strong programming abilities, with a focus on Swift and Objective-C. Experience with optimizing software performance, ensuring fast live video start and short access to recorded videos.
