Job Overview
We are seeking an exceptional Intern-IT Business Analyst to join our team. As an integral part of our IT department, you will play a vital role in supporting discretionary work and other projects. Your responsibilities will include creating requirements, documenting processes, and developing test cases to ensure that development work is production-ready. You will also craft professional presentations and communication pieces, working collaboratively with our team to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

Support IT discretionary work and other projects, working closely with team members to achieve project goals.
Create requirements with guidance from analyst team members, developing a deep understanding of project needs and objectives.
Execute testing on development work, ensuring that all projects meet our high standards for quality and functionality.
Assist with creating process documentation, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of our processes and procedures.
Develop job aids for basic automation deliverables, streamlining our workflows and improving efficiency.
Work within our Target process to manage work and provide updates to projects, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with team members.
Craft professional presentations and communication pieces, effectively conveying complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Multi-task, work in a team environment, and receive direction from multiple individuals, demonstrating your ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn new software applications and systems.
Basic computer skills, with a strong foundation in IT principles and practices.
Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.
Ability to multi-task and work within time constraints, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Education and Experience
We are seeking candidates who are currently enrolled in an Information Systems, Information Technology, or a technically equivalent undergraduate degree program at an accredited university or technical college. Alternatively, equivalent military experience will also be considered. While a degree is not required, you must be actively pursuing your education and have a strong foundation in IT principles and practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

A junior or senior working towards a business or technology degree, with a strong academic record and a demonstrated interest in IT and business analysis.
Experience in low code/no code solutions, with a desire to learn and apply new technologies and approaches.
