Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Installation Night Works Security Engineer to join our team, working on a night shift basis, 4 nights a week, Monday through Thursday, 10 hour shifts. As an Installation Night Works Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm Systems across a large customer base nationwide. You will work closely with our Project Managers and Project Engineers to deliver exceptional workmanship skills and excellent customer service, providing a high level of field technical expertise across all Intruder/CCTV and Access control systems, both conventional and IP-based systems.
Key Responsibilities
Effective communication between ASEL Integrated Security Solutions, customers, Project Management Team, and Head of Installations
Working within a team covering a geographical area, carrying out site installations safely in line with specifications and plans
Communicating any deviations to the Project Management Team and ensuring all relevant paperwork is delivered to the Project Management team immediately after job completion
Ensuring customer queries are dealt with in a timely manner and providing leadership to respective Trainee Engineers
Carrying out field-based mentoring of Trainee Engineers and assisting with technical queries from Engineers and Project Managers
Ensuring team working practices are always maintained to a high standard and supporting company policy and best practice in the area of security
Implementing and acting in accordance with the organization's information security policies, protecting assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction, or interference
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 2 years of experience across multiple disciplines, including Intruder, CCTV, and Access Control. You will be customer-focused, with excellent telephone manner, PC literate, and a team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will be an ambassador for ASEL Integrated Security Solutions, dealing with external and internal stakeholders, and able to work within a continually changing environment.
Essential Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Installation Engineering, preferably in the security industry
NVQ level 2 in Electronic Security Systems or equivalent
Sound understanding and experience of CCTV, Intruder, Access Control, and Fire systems
Network/IP-based product experience beneficial
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and workmanship skills
Experience working with IP-based systems and network configuration
Knowledge of security risk modeling and risk advisory practices
