Job Summary The Information Technology Audit Manager will be responsible for overseeing and assisting with the completion of various IT internal audits and projects to achieve the successful completion of the Internal Audit (IA) Plan. This position demands a strong understanding of internal auditing standards, IT governance, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls and mitigate IT risks, monitor management's remediation efforts, and conduct follow-up testing of related action plans. Key Responsibilities Supervise and perform multiple IT-related audit activities and projects, ranging from low to high complexity, to support the achievement of the department's goals and objectives. Oversee and participate in the planning, execution, and reporting of audits, including the scope, quality, and timeliness of work performed. Supervise, review, and manage the work of others, including co-sourced resources, by following and enforcing audit policy, standards, and procedures. Promptly and adequately inform the CAE, IA Director, and business process owners of audit progress and potential significant issues. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with business process owners and business management, including serving as the key point person during audits. Develop and supervise staff at lower levels, depending on the nature of audits. Manage issue follow-up to confirm action plans have been effectively implemented. Participate in the annual risk assessment and audit plan development process, and continuous monitoring activities. Prioritize daily responsibilities and prepare routine project status reports, as requested. Maintain audit independence and objectivity in all assignments and adhere to organizational and professional ethics standards. Supervisory Responsibilities The Information Technology Audit Manager will be responsible for managing IA Department staff and co-source third-party vendors as assigned. This includes interviewing and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and encouraging employees, addressing complaints, and resolving issues. The successful candidate will provide effective oversight of co-sourced IT audit providers and ensure that all audit activities are conducted in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong educational foundation and significant experience in IT audit and supervisory experience within the Financial Service industry. A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and a minimum of six (6) years of experience are required, preferably with experience working with a Bank of at least $10 Billion in Assets. Professional designations such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CDPSE, or CGEIT are also required. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as well as satisfactory computer and spreadsheet skills.
