**Key Responsibilities**
As an Industrial Engineering Transportation Analyst, you'll be responsible for:
* Helping to optimize the H.L. Transportation Fleet by analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs
* Collaborating with managers to outline and prioritize business needs, ensuring that our transportation operations are aligned with our overall business strategy
* Integrating data from multiple sources, including database platforms, to gain insights and inform decision-making
* Building, creating, and maintaining multiple Excel spreadsheets to track and analyze data
* Providing data-driven insights and recommendations to inform business decisions and drive growth
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Previous experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a logistics or transportation-related field
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization
* Experience with Microsoft Access, including database design and development
* Strong typing and 10-key skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* A high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree in a related field (such as logistics, transportation, or business administration) preferred
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
* Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software
* Familiarity with SQL and database management
* Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment
* Certification in a related field, such as Certified Logistics Professional (CLP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
