About the Role

This is an on-site, inbound sales specialist job, where you'll handle a high volume of inbound calls (approximately 40 per day, depending on your shift) from customers seeking assistance with finding and purchasing their desired products. As a Customer Support Representative, you'll be the face of Wayfair, providing top-notch service and ensuring that every customer interaction is memorable and satisfying.

Key Responsibilities


Handle inbound sales calls from customers, responding to their queries, and providing product information to facilitate their purchasing decisions.
Review and familiarize yourself with the daily schedule, including designated break times, lunch times, team meetings, and training sessions.
Contact product suppliers to gather additional information not available on the Wayfair website, ensuring that customers receive accurate and comprehensive product details.
Adhere to the designated Sales Cycle and call flow, which includes:

Testing questions
Anticipating the sale
Building rapport
Upselling and cross-selling relevant products


Analyze customer needs and proactively seek opportunities to enhance their experience by suggesting complementary products or upgrades.
Meet and maintain key performance metrics, which are essential to driving sales success and growth.
Remain focused on customers, minimizing distractions, and working efficiently throughout your shift.
Develop moderate comfort and skills with technology, multitasking, and navigating complex customer requests.
Actively participate in team engagement activities, sales challenges, and other aspects of our company culture.
Be flexible during peak seasons, which may require adjusted schedules or mandatory overtime.


Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications


Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with customers and colleagues alike.
Previous sales experience, preferably in a call center, retail, or virtual environment.
High School Diploma or GED; some college education preferred.
Proficiency in using software applications and technology, with a high level of comfort in a virtual world.
Regular and reliable attendance is essential for this position.


Preferred Qualifications


Experience in the home products industry or a related field.
Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales tools.
Certification in customer service, sales, or a related field.
