Job Overview Key Responsibilities Shop for and prepare Prime Now customer orders, ensuring accuracy and promptness Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including ingredients, nutrition, and preparation methods Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive and productive store environment Maintain the staging area, ensuring it is neat and tidy, and perform other tasks as required, such as customer service, cash handling, and restocking shelves Availability Requirements To ensure we can meet our customers' demands, we require team members who are flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Your schedule will be provided with at least 3 weeks' notice, and shifts will typically range from 4 to 8 hours in duration. Job Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to: Be able to use mobile devices to manage orders and communicate with the team Handle online orders efficiently, accurately, and with promptness Be thorough and detail-oriented, ensuring precision in product and order details Have a strong desire to learn about our products, service standards, and store operations Be able to maintain a clean and organized staging area, and perform other tasks as required Be flexible and willing to assist in various sections of the store, such as customer service, cash handling, and produce or frozen food aisles Basic Qualifications To be considered for this role, you will need to: Be at least 18 years old Have basic English reading and speaking skills Be physically able to carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds, stand or walk for at least 6 hours, and regularly perform bodily movements such as pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching, with or without reasonable accommodation Have a high school diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements and Working Conditions This role requires: The ability to carry 50 pounds of weight Standing and walking for 6-8 hours, with sitting for 1-4 hours Hand usage, including grasping objects with one hand Performing a variety of movements, such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching Contact with FDA-approved cleaning agents Working in a variety of temperatures, ranging from 32-100 degrees Fahrenheit Operating various tools and equipment, such as electric pallet jacks, box cutters, and other heavy machinery Using ladders as required Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Whole Foods Market, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
