Job Overview
As an In-Home Installation Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering our services to customers in their homes. Your primary responsibility will be to assemble and install products according to our specifications, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of quality and service. In-Home Installation Technician Duties

Receive customer orders and complete installation or assembly jobs in customers' homes on a daily basis
Communicate with customers to confirm all appointments and ensure that their needs are met
Confirm work orders to ensure that you are assembling/repairing the correct product
Assemble products to National Assembler's specifications, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality
Build strong rapport with customers and ensure 100% satisfaction by delivering good customer service and quality of product
Leave customers' homes neat and clean, free of all trash and debris
Complete follow-up notes in our system after job completion, ensuring that all necessary documentation is up to date


Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

Problem-solving skills: the ability to identify challenges and proactively seek and recommend creative solutions
Skilled professional: a background in carpentry, installation, or in-home services, with a strong understanding of assembly and installation techniques
Reliable individual: a proven attendance record, self-motivated, and able to adhere to schedules and meet tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills: the ability to communicate effectively with all types of customers, including those with difficult or complex needs


Essential Requirements
In addition to the skills and qualifications listed above, you will need to meet the following essential requirements:

Be able to lift 40 pounds, as you will be required to handle and assemble products
Have your own reliable transportation for local and out-of-town travel, as you will be required to visit customers' homes
Have a valid Driver's License and auto insurance, as you will be driving to customers' homes
Be willing to travel regularly, with most jobs landing within a 75-mile radius of your home
Adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines, ensuring that you and our customers are safe at all times


Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

Previous experience in a similar role, such as furniture assembly or installation
A strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility with scheduling, including the ability to work occasional weekends and evenings
