Key Responsibilities Provide companionship and conversation to clients, engaging in activities and hobbies that promote social interaction and mental stimulation Assist with daily activities, including transfers, gait belt support, and safety supervision Administer medication reminders and support clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Prepare meals and snacks, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences Perform light housekeeping tasks, maintaining a clean and safe living environment for clients Provide occasional transportation for errands or appointments, ensuring clients' access to essential services and activities Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: At least 1 year of caregiving experience or a current certification as a CNA, HCA, HHA, PCA, or DSP (preferred) A valid driver's license, vehicle with insurance, and reliable transportation to clients' locations The ability to lift 50 pounds and work flexible shifts, including fill-in shifts Comfort working with pets and smokers (if applicable) Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: CPR certification Experience working with seniors or adults with disabilities Knowledge of caregiving best practices and industry standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate: Empathy and compassion for clients, with a genuine interest in their well-being and quality of life Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families Reliability, flexibility, and adaptability, with a willingness to work varied shifts and respond to changing client needs Basic knowledge of caregiving principles and practices, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we are committed to supporting the career growth and development of our caregivers.
