About the Role: Network Performance Engineer As a Network Performance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our networks perform at a high level all the time, directly impacting customer satisfaction and helping us stay ahead of the competition. Key Responsibilities Evaluate service performance trends and isolate root causes of impacted services to ensure efficient and reliable service for our customers. Perform VoLTE testing and analyses of relevant key performance indicators to optimize network performance. Coordinate technical investigations and testing with appropriate regional, area, and HQ functions to resolve complex issues. Provide technical analysis, troubleshooting, and training assistance to markets and regions as requested, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration. Optimize LTE, 5G, and RAN networks using traditional and innovative means to stay at the forefront of network technology. Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding service, ensuring high customer satisfaction and loyalty. Integrate new cell sites, small cells, and DAS systems into existing macro networks, expanding our reach and capabilities. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have a strong customer service orientation, a penchant for taking ownership of issues, and the ability to understand and evaluate complex problems to present effective solutions. You must be able to work well independently and collaboratively with diverse business teams and vendors to implement solutions. A Bachelor's Degree or three or more years of work experience. Three or more years of relevant experience in network performance engineering or a related field. Preferred Qualifications While not required, having one or more of the following qualifications will make you an even stronger candidate: A degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Telecommunications. Experience with at least one data collection tool such as Datapro, and TEMS Symphony. Knowledge of data analysis/post-processing tools such as Irisview, Windcatcher/Actix/TEMS Discovery. Knowledge of propagation and optimization modeling tools such as Planet, GeoPlan, ACP, DB Planner. Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Python, Unix, scripting tools. Experience with mapping software such as MapInfo, ArcGIS, Topo. Knowledge of Ericsson systems including OSS, ESON, and 3GPP LTE standards. Ability to differentiate and diagnose RAN and CORE related problems. Understanding of IMS and systems engineering aspects related to RAN and proficiency in Core level call flow analysis. For this role, the compensation range is between $76,000.00 and $141,000.00 annually, based on a full-time schedule, with the potential to earn more through our incentive-based structure.
