Key Responsibilities


Review electrical/refrigeration schematics, BOMs, layout, assembly, and heating/cooling systems to ensure compliance with customer and engineering specifications.
Test components, sensors, controls, and system performance to verify proper sequence of operation and identify any defects or issues.
Utilize gauges, electrical meters, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
Operate material handling equipment and perform daily housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Complete paperwork and documentation required by operations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to learn new functions and processes, performing them within accepted output and quality levels.
Follow standard safe practices and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Participate in cross-training initiatives to develop skills in other grades and classifications as needed.


Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful as an HVAC Test Technician with Greenheck Group, you will need:


Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including single-phase, three-phase, and high/low voltage circuitry.
Experience with electrical schematics and sequence of operation.
Excellent math skills and analytical ability.
Ability to read and understand instructions, complete paperwork, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and test stands.
Basic computer skills and ability to operate material handling equipment.
EPA certification Type I and II.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.


Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable:


Previous experience in a manufacturing or testing environment.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and practices.
Experience with quality control processes and procedures.
