Why You'll Love This Job This position is a member of the Compliance Group within the People/HR Division, focusing on maintaining legal and regulatory compliance by investigating and communicating requirements. As an HR Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the HR Compliance team and Operations with various tasks, including acquiring fingerprint/background check results, maintaining relationships with TSA, Airport Authority Boards, U.S. Customs, and U.S. Postal Services, and database entry. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Support the HR Compliance team and Operations with tasks such as acquiring fingerprint/background check results and processing daily FBI fingerprints into the Access database Analyze and resolve any database issues, plan and analyze HR Compliance data between different records, and work closely with HRIS and EC systems Conduct high-level investigations, create custom reports/dashboards, and standardize all data used for HR Compliance Collaborate with clients and teams consistently, reviewing completed Fingerprint Applications for accuracy and retransmitting fingerprints to the TSA Clearinghouse as needed Maintain relationships with external agencies, such as TSA, Airport Authority Boards, U.S. Customs, and U.S. Postal Services Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, with a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred experience with Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) and access to the TSA Clearinghouse database Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and Vlookup, as well as advanced Access skills The ability to interpret large data sets to create meaningful reports, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment Skills and Competencies Required for Success In addition to the essential and preferred qualifications, you will need: Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of adaptability and flexibility Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and teams The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong sense of organization and time management Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At American Airlines, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
