About the Job and Group The arenaflex HR Group is searching for a Manager, HR Business Partner to join our team in Los Angeles or New York City. The Manager, HRBP will sit at the intersection of HR and the business, committed to our Programming and Product groups within the Trade, Development, and Character association. This association drives the product and tech system for payments, packaging, tiering, and other business and growth platforms across arenaflex's streaming products, as well as the unified character across arenaflex's products, parks, and experiences. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business, with a focus on building effective and collaborative working relationships with internal partners and clients. Proactively assess business and organizational performance to recommend and drive action through a consultative, "influence without authority" approach. Mentor leaders on HR policies, processes, and management issues, including talent planning, learning and development, employee inclusion and engagement, and performance management to promote a culture of continuous growth and innovation. Think creatively; pursue innovative approaches to our work by demonstrating flexibility, agility, transparency, willingness, and global thinking. Respond to leaders and employees with a sense of urgency and timely resolution. Analyze HR data and trends with the ability to present in a clear and compelling manner that drives action on recommendations. Advise on headcount/resource management and collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Compensation partners to ensure an effective recruitment and hiring process. Utilize understanding of individual and organizational dynamics to facilitate onboarding, talent management, internal mobility, and overall team development. Collaborate with DEI functional teams and employee resource groups to implement and measure the impact of key inclusion initiatives. Evaluate talent capabilities and development needs based on business strategy. Collaborate with Learning functional partners to create and deliver development experiences to help close gaps between current and future capabilities. Lead organization design projects to streamline and implement new structures, roles, and/or processes that create speed and efficiency and support rapidly changing business demands. Collaborate with other HR Business Partners, fostering a positive working relationship, and working together on projects and initiatives across various groups within arenaflex. Essential Qualifications and Skills The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally within a tech organization working with software or product groups. Experience working with senior executives in an "influence without authority" role. Ability to perform with a "focus in" mindset, equally proficient at thinking strategically and operating tactically. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage ambiguity - handling issues that don't always have a process or framework in place, and possibly with conflicting needs or perspectives. Solid business acumen with a sharp ability to process new information quickly. Demonstrated ability to influence and partner within a diverse organization to help drive business results. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to rapidly interpret data, identify trends, and recommend solutions. Independent work style, balancing the need for collaboration with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications and Skills Preferred candidates will also have: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, ideally in Business, HR Management, Psychology, or equivalent work experience. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions. Experience with HR systems and tools, including HRIS, performance management software, and other relevant technologies.
