Key Highlights Start date: September 16, 2024 Train and work remotely from approved states (Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Nevada, North Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia) Three weeks of training (10AM – 5 PM MST, M-F) Full-time (40 hours per week) with shifts available between 5 AM – 11 PM MST Starting base pay: $15.00 per hour + bonus potential of up to $6/hr Required weekend shift What You'll Do As a Home Office Chat Support Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through live chat using our LiveEngage (LivePerson) platform. Your key responsibilities will include: Answering 2-3 incoming chats and providing top-notch customer service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Consulting customers on enhancing the value of their contact lens purchase and identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell Proactively communicating and engaging with your manager and team members to ensure success in a virtual work environment Providing solutions to customer problems in a way that creates a positive customer experience, with the empowerment to make decisions in the moment Maintaining high performance metrics, including revenue per call, quality, availability, and dependability Living our company values: Big Hearted, Unconventional, Tenacious, Better Together What You'll Need To be successful in this role, you will need: High school diploma or equivalent experience 2-3 years of minimum customer service experience Great typing skills (at least 40 words per minute) and technical proficiency Reliable internet connection and speeds of 20 mbps download and 10 mbps upload, or better A private, dedicated workplace, free from interruption or distraction that promotes confidentiality Positive, driven, and solution-oriented mentality Ability to show up to work on time and work your scheduled shift Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience working in a virtual or remote environment Familiarity with live chat software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems Knowledge of contact lenses and vision care products Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Strong technical skills and ability to learn new software and systems Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
