About the Role: Network Development Specialist
We're seeking a talented professional to lead our network development initiatives, focusing on expanding our network of PT providers who offer Workers Comp services. As a Network Development Specialist, you'll be the primary point of contact for negotiating contract terms that meet internal and external requirements, including State mandates. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing our footprint, geographical coverage, and outcomes for injured workers.

Key Responsibilities

Research and Recruitment: Identify and recruit potential providers for current and new product lines, leveraging various factors to improve our network's overall performance.
Timely Follow-up: Ensure prompt follow-up on recruited providers and maintain accurate documentation of recruitment status and efforts in our designated tracking system.
Collaboration: Work closely with other Network Specialists to drive potential providers towards participation with our network.
Strategic Identification: Analyze client needs to strategically identify potential providers that align with their requirements.
Telephonic Recruitment: Conduct heavy telephonic recruitment and contact with providers to build relationships and negotiate contracts.
Goal Achievement: Assist the Manager in developing and achieving monthly and annual goals, driving business growth and expansion.
Inter-Team Collaboration: Work with various teams within Provider Management to address requests, resolve contract queries, and explore new leads from Account Management and Patient Advocacy Teams.
Confidentiality and Compliance: Adhere strictly to our client's Confidentiality, Privacy, and Security Standards Policies and Operating Procedures.


Essential Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you'll need:

A 4-year degree or equivalent education and experience in a relevant field.
Prior experience in a medical (PPO, HMO, Provider Network), insurance, or sales-oriented recruitment environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong documentation, listening, and phone skills.
Initiative and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve conflicts effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.


Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge:

Experience in Workers Comp services or a related field.
Knowledge of State mandates and regulations governing Workers Comp services.
A proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and building provider relationships.
