Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Healthcare Eligibility Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our eligibility team, you will play a critical role in delivering essential administrative services, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Implement and maintain eligibility data for benefits, both manually and through automated systems, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Interact with internal partners and external clients/vendors to manage and resolve eligibility issues, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. Generate reports to identify and resolve data discrepancies, using analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve errors, and identify opportunities for process improvement. Provide technical support for electronic eligibility processing, and troubleshooting system issues as needed, to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime. Ensure customer data is installed and maintained accurately and promptly, adhering to strict data protection and confidentiality standards. Collaborate with technical systems teams to resolve system-related issues, and provide input on process improvements and system enhancements. Identify opportunities for process improvement in managing eligibility cases, and develop and implement solutions to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality. Provide support with manual and automated eligibility processes and reporting tools, to ensure that all stakeholders have access to accurate and timely information. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics, computer science, or a related field. Work Experience: Prior work-at-home (WAH) experience is highly preferred, with a proven track record of working independently, managing multiple tasks, and meeting deadlines in a remote environment. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote, with the ability to learn new software applications and systems quickly. Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues, such as setting up equipment, navigating systems, and resolving connectivity problems. Familiarity with eligibility systems, reporting tools, and manual/automated data entry is a plus, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes. Soft Skills: Strong reliability and excellent attendance record, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines. Ability to manage routine tasks with minimal supervision, and work independently in a remote environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clearly defined procedures, with a focus on accuracy, quality, and compliance. Great interpersonal and communication skills to interact with both internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and team members. Schedule and Training The training schedule for this position will consist of: 4 weeks of classroom training, from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, to provide a comprehensive overview of our systems, processes, and policies. 2 weeks of on-the-job training, to ensure a smooth transition into the role and provide hands-on experience with our systems and tools. Once training is complete, the regular schedule will be from 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM EST, Monday to Friday, with scheduling based on business needs and flexibility to accommodate changing priorities.
