As the Head of Program Management, you will lead a team of program managers to launch, land, and deliver a premium learning experience that transforms Nooglers into confident and capable Googlers.

About the Team

You will join the Onboarding team within the function of Global Curriculum Design, responsible for developing and delivering product and skills training to Google teams and external client and agency partners. Our team is comprised of learning professionals, marketing leaders, former consultants, and analysts who share a passion for launching and iterating learning programs that drive business results.

Responsibilities

As the Head of Program Management, you will be responsible for leading a team of program managers and producers to achieve the following objectives:

* Lead and mentor a team of program managers and producers: Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, empowering your team to excel in their roles.
* Define, prioritize, structure, and execute strategic initiatives: Drive operating goals for the organization, optimizing resource allocation and measuring/reporting progress against key objectives.
* Analyze business processes to identify potential issues and uncover/prioritize levers for improvement: Influence executive stakeholders to implement suggested improvements, ensuring the program's effectiveness and efficiency.
* Create program infrastructure that enables consistent, high-quality delivery at scale: Develop systems and tools that operationalize Google Sales School's strategy, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.
* Use judgment to build consensus, drive projects, and communicate status to executive stakeholders: Collaborate with leadership to ensure the program's success, navigating complex projects of moderate to high complexity and scope.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience: A strong foundation in management consulting, corporate strategy, sales operations, or equivalent experience in a technology/media company.
* 8 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, sales operations, or equivalent experience in a technology/media company: A proven track record of driving business results through strategic initiatives and program management.
* 4 years of experience in program management: A deep understanding of program management principles, processes, and best practices.
* 2 years of experience in people management developing and leading a team: Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and drive business results through effective leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial for success in this role:

* Program management certification or experience in program management with an IT or Tech company: A recognized certification or experience in program management within the IT or Tech industry.
* Experience launching a new program including in-person and/or virtual events: A proven track record of launching successful programs, including in-person and/or virtual events.
* Experience in setting and executing on vendor strategies, including managing third-party vendors to drive execution against set goals: A strong understanding of vendor management and the ability to drive execution against set goals.
* Ability to identify and implement complex processes and manage large, complex, strategic, and operational initiatives across multiple teams and regions: A proven ability to analyze complex processes and drive business results through effective leadership.
* Ability to analyze data and present insights/recommendations in a clear and compelling manner: Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving experience, combined with business judgment: A strong understanding of business principles and the ability to analyze complex problems and drive business results through effective leadership.
