Experienced Graphic Designer (For an Educational Company)

Hello Educational Leaders! We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our curriculum development team. In this role, you will work closely with curriculum consultants, team leads, our growth team, and other designers to produce high-quality visual content for educational materials. You will play a key part in designing digital and print graphics that enhance the learning experience, making complex information more engaging and accessible for students of all ages. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with curriculum consultants, team leads, and designers to create visually appealing materials, including publish-grade materials, presentations, infographics, multimedia, and more. • Design user-friendly layouts for digital and print content that support educational objectives and adhere to brand guidelines. • Develop illustrations, icons, charts, and other graphics to simplify and clarify complex concepts. • Ensure all designs are optimized for a range of formats, including web, mobile, and print. • Provide creative input and solutions for enhancing the look and feel of educational materials. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design and educational technology. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Masters Degree preferred. • Proven experience (5+ years) as a graphic designer, preferably within the education industry. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, or other design tools. • 20 hours per week availability - understanding of fast turnaround deadlines • Web design experience • Branded template design experience • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Excellent communication and time management skills as well as adaptability • Based in the United States with the ability to meet with designers virtually during US business hours • Fluent in English Desired Qualities: • Passion for education and a commitment to making learning visually engaging and accessible. • Creative problem-solver who can think outside the box to design innovative solutions. • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Experience with animation/character rigging, custom illustration/character design, video editing, marketing, SEO If you’re an experienced educator with a passion for curriculum development, we’d love to hear from you!
