About the Role: Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Service Specialist This exciting opportunity is part of the Corporate Affairs Team within the Government Affairs Division at blithequark. As a Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Service Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in promoting air travel on blithequark, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support. Your expertise will be crucial in resolving customer inquiries, managing travel arrangements, and communicating effectively with clients to provide mutually beneficial solutions. Key Responsibilities: Promote and sell air travel on blithequark, highlighting the benefits and unique experiences we offer to our valued customers. Prepare detailed itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, and prepare and issue tickets, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions. Respond to customer inquiries regarding general travel information, providing clear and concise answers to facilitate informed decision-making. Resolve customer problems in a professional and courteous manner, aiming for mutually beneficial outcomes that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Communicate effectively with customers over the phone, addressing concerns, advising on flight cancellations or delays, and keeping them informed about new rules, policies, and procedures that may affect their travel plans. Qualifications for Success To excel in this role, you will need a combination of education, experience, and skills that align with our high standards of customer service and professional excellence. Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training, demonstrating your foundation in customer service, communications, or a related discipline. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the aviation or travel industry, where you have developed a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences. Familiarity with Native SABRE or similar systems, showcasing your ability to adapt to and master new technologies.
