As a Specialist, Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Service, you will be an integral part of our Corporate Affairs Team within the Government Affairs Division, promoting and selling air travel, resolving customer problems, and communicating with customers over the phone. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to: Promote and sell air travel on blithequark Prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, and prepare and issue tickets Answer inquiries regarding general travel information and resolve customer problems in a mutually beneficial manner Communicate with customers over the phone when researching passenger complaints, advising of cancelled or delayed flights Communicate new rules, policies, and procedures that would affect the customer Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer complaints, and promoting air travel on blithequark. You will also be required to: Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of blithequark's products and services Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions Collaborate with other teams to achieve business objectives and resolve customer issues Provide feedback and suggestions for improving customer service and sales processes Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training Excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills Knowledge of Native SABRE or similar systems Ability to be resourceful and creative in resolving customer complaints and issues Ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative, exercise good judgment, and be dependable Satisfactory attendance required Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field Knowledge of the air travel industry and blithequark's products and services Experience working with diverse customer groups and resolving complex customer issues Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders Adaptability and flexibility in responding to changing customer needs and business priorities Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
