Key Responsibilities As a Spanish Interpreter, your primary responsibilities will include: Interpreting Spanish/English conversations for a wide range of industries, including Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Financial Services, Travel & Hospitality, and government entities Handling telephone calls on demand in a quiet home office environment Translating Spanish/English conversations that may be simple, complex, or technical Providing excellent customer service and ensuring accurate communication between parties Working a minimum of 30 hours a week, with Monday shifts being required Participating in video interpreting calls, which may involve being on camera Maintaining accurate records and notes using manual dexterity to type or write Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: Fluent proficiency in both Spanish and English High school diploma or equivalent required; education or work experience in teaching or translation considered an asset Previous experience in interpretation or translation not required, but a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently in a remote setting Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Manual dexterity to type or write notes Comfortable with being on camera during video interpreting calls Technical Requirements To perform your job duties effectively, you'll need: A personal iPhone or Android phone A high-speed internet connection for work-related electronic communication A dry erase marker board A dedicated workspace that is quiet and free from distractions What We Offer As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy: A competitive salary of $15 per hour A long-term contract with opportunities for growth and advancement 3 weeks of paid training to ensure your success Perks and options for benefits, including opportunities for professional development The flexibility to work from home and create your own schedule (within required hours) The satisfaction of making a meaningful impact in your community Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Kelly, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
