Your key responsibilities will include: Providing Exceptional Service: Deliver outstanding experiences to every caller, building trust and creating sustainable relationships Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills to research and communicate solutions in a variety of situations Handling Customer Concerns: Effectively handle customer concerns, utilizing available resources to provide accurate information and ensure empathetic resolution Confidentially Handling Policy Owner Information: Ensure compliance and communication standards are met when handling sensitive information Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure thorough and timely resolutions for all members Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: Minimum 2 Years of Experience: In a customer service related position, with a high value placed on the customer/member experience; insurance/call center experience preferred Basic Mathematical Aptitude: Demonstrated basic mathematical aptitude (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) Technical Aptitude: Technical aptitude with experience navigating and operating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies desired Basic Understanding of Life Insurance: Basic understanding and knowledge of life insurance company operations, policies, and procedures, and knowledge of various insurance products preferred Completion of Insurance Industry or LOMA Coursework: Completion of insurance industry or LOMA coursework preferred High School Diploma: Required; some college level coursework preferred Internet Requirements: Must possess internet with a minimum speed of 25MB download and 5MB upload and be able to support a VPN Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with members Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Ability to apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills to complex situations Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately handle policy owner information and ensure compliance and communication standards are met Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with internal teams to ensure thorough and timely resolutions for all members Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
