**Experienced Full-Time Remote Direct Support Professional – Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Support Services**

Our team of professionals is committed to delivering high-quality support services that prioritize the dignity, respect, and well-being of each individual we serve. **Job Summary** As a Remote Direct Support Professional, you will play a critical role in providing technology-enabled support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will work from a remote location, using enabling technology to support individuals in achieving their goals and maintaining their health and safety. This is a full-time position, working a 3rd shift schedule, with opportunities for career growth and professional development. **Key Responsibilities** * Monitor the physical and emotional health of individuals served, gathering information and communicating observations to verbal and written documentation * Provide guidance and support to individuals in areas such as health, medication, safety, and daily living, as outlined in their Individual Plans of Service (IPOS) * Respond to all monitoring system alerts within proper time frames, assessing needs and prioritizing responses as needed * Engage in real-time, two-way communication with individuals served to respond to requests for support, emergency help, or social interaction * Create accurate and timely records and submit various reports, including incidents and daily progress * Ensure the privacy and dignity of individuals served and report any suspected abuse or neglect * Maintain confidentiality and respect the rights of individuals served * Encourage the use of enabling technology to address outcomes as stated in the IPOS * Provide ongoing training to individuals served to engage them in the use of supportive technologies * Identify risk and behaviors that can lead to a crisis and use effective strategies to prevent or intervene in the crisis in collaboration with others * Provide in-person support, including essential functions of a Residential Support Staff, such as assisting in meal preparation, cleaning, small home repairs, and light residential maintenance duties * Provide advocacy and empower individuals served to advocate for themselves * Attend meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities as needed * Provide on-call support, including after-hours, in a rotation with the supervisor **Requirements** * High School diploma and at least one year's experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities * Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered * Ability to communicate effectively with others in person, by telephone or videoconference, and in written form as appropriate for the needs of the audience * Ability to interpret a variety of information in written and verbal form * Mathematical skills to communicate and interpret information and solve problems * Reasoning ability to solve practical problems, deal with a variety of variables, and make independent decisions relative to duties * Proficiency with basic applications, such as word processing, calendars, email, videoconferencing, and internet * Proficiency with enabling technology, such as smartphones, tablets, monitoring systems, virtual assistants, and wearable devices * Valid driver's license * Must be 18 years of age and have at least three years' experience as a licensed driver **Skills and Competencies** * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the rights of individuals served * Strong advocacy and empowerment skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively * Strong computer skills and proficiency with enabling technology * Ability to maintain accurate and timely records and reports **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Training and education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge * Collaborative and supportive work environment * Opportunities for advancement and leadership development * Competitive salary and benefits package **Work Environment and Company Culture** * Work from a remote location, using enabling technology to support individuals in achieving their goals and maintaining their health and safety * Collaborative and supportive work environment * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Competitive salary and benefits package * Flexible scheduling and work-life balance * Opportunities for advancement and leadership development **Compensation, Perks, and Benefits** * Competitive salary * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance * Paid time off and holidays * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Flexible scheduling and work-life balance * Opportunities for advancement and leadership development **How to Apply** If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
