The role involves entering high volumes of information into our database from paper documents, ensuring data integrity and security, and maintaining databases by entering new and updated customer and account information. Key Responsibilities Entering customer and account data from source documents with high accuracy and speed. Compiling, verifying accuracy, and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry, ensuring all data is correct and up-to-date. Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and checking output to maintain data quality. Maintaining databases by entering new and updated customer and account information, ensuring all records are current and accurate. Responding to queries for information and accessing relevant files in a timely and professional manner. Complying with data integrity and security policies to protect sensitive information. Regularly backing up data for secure storage and easy recovery, ensuring business continuity. Essential Qualifications Proven data entry work experience, with a strong track record of accuracy and efficiency. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Word, with the ability to quickly learn new software applications. Strong typing skills, with the ability to type at least 40 words per minute with high accuracy. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to review and correct data errors. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with strong self-motivation and discipline. Basic educational requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with databases and data management systems. Knowledge of data integrity and security principles and practices.
